Course Description:
This unique course is aimed at building the capacity of project managers to address inefficiencies in spending. This program would give tools and knowledge to maximize and embed the value for money (VFM) approaches to projects, programs, and organizations. The participants learn about best practices in economic theory as well as how to practically apply existing and emerging tools to capture and manage VFM
Learning Outcomes:
At the end of this training, the participant will be able to:
- Understand the rationale and main features of VfM;
- Embed VfM with the project cycle;
- Apply a wide range of VfM tools and techniques to help manage costs, drive efficiency and ensure effectiveness; and
- Effectively communicate VfM and influence management decisions for sustainability
